Major & General Education (GE) Advising

Our advising services are offered in-person or via Zoom. The location of your appointment depends on your units earned (lower division versus upper division standing).

New Spring 2026 students must attend an orientation to receive academic advising. Review our New Student webpage for more information.

Lower Division students (0 to 59 earned units):

  • Locations: The Undergraduate Advising Hub (UAH) in the (North Garage) or Zoom
  • Services: "Academic/Schedule Planning" and "General Education" appointment through

Our advising will be limited if your transfer credit report is not complete and accurate. If you are completing a course during the summer, you are required to send official transcripts with final grades to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ for approval, processing, and posting.

Upper Division students (60 or more earned units):

  • Locations: The College of Science Student Success Center (CoS-SSC) Science Building (SCI 127) or Zoom
    • From December 15 to 24, Upper Division advising is limited to virtual services only due to office closure
  • Service: "Academic/Schedule Planning" or "General Education" appointment through

Students with Upper Division standing are invited to join the . Join and turn on notifications to receive advising announcements, connect to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ resources, and engage with ±«ÓãÖ±²¥'s opportunities for STEM students.
