Health Insurance

Health insurance is not required for a visit at the Student Wellness Center. However, since there is no overnight, weekend, or long-term medical care provided by the Student Wellness Center, health insurance may be needed to reimburse a portion of the costs for outside hospitalization, special tests, and specialty care that are not available at the Student Wellness Center.

Your 鲍鱼直播 mandatory health fee does not count as insurance.
Many students (and families) will qualify for free or low cost options.

International Students

International students are required to purchase the University approved health insurance plan. For more information, contact the International Student And Scholar Services office (international-office@sjsu.edu) in the Student Union or call (408) 924-5920.
