Biography
I received my Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1994 and taught at the University of Michigan and Pomona College before coming to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ in Fall 2001. My research interests are in various areas of algebra and combinatorics, including geometric group theory, especially groups of non-positive curvature; the combinatorics of partially ordered sets (extremal set theory); l 2 (co)homology and other invariants; sporadic finite simple groups, and related phenomena; and modular groups and braid groups.
